Latisse is the only prescription treatment for hypotrichosis (inadequate or not enough lashes) to grow eyelashes longer, fuller, and darker. Using the applicator supplied by Latisse, the solution is applied to the upper lid. It is important that Latisse be used on a daily basis, as the solution works gradually – with full results at week 16.

After week 4, you will begin to see changes in length. Then, you may notice more thickness and darkness around week 8. If you are satisfied with your results at week 8, don’t stop there. Stick with the treatment. You’ll see the full effect of Latisse solution at week 16 – and so will others.

If you stop using Latisse at any time, your eyelashes will return to their previous appearance over several weeks to months.

Clinical trial results showed lashes to be 25% longer, 106% fuller, and 18% darker. The most common side effect of Latisse is an itching sensation in the eyes and/or eye redness (reported in approximately 4% of patients). If you have a history of elevated intra-ocular pressure, this product may not be for you.

Here are a few tips for success once you know how to apply Latisse:

  • Keep it Handy – store near your other skin care products or toothbrush, so you won’t forget to apply it each night.
  • Start Fresh – Latisse should be used on clean skin. Therefore be sure to apply after removing make-up and contact lenses.
  • Beware of Germs – Don’t let the tip of the applicator or bottle contact your fingers or any other unintended surface.
  • Have Patience – Latisse takes time to work, but it will work! Chart your progress at week 4, week 8, week 12, and week 16 with “Before and After” pictures. I am confident you will be impressed!
